File System Synchronization

Background

To set-up the File System as the data source, you need to use a Chromium-based browser, which supports the File System API.

This provides direct access to the device file system, which allows reading your journal files. The journal is read during Synchronization and the reports.

Editable data is kept in the browser, in OPFS and IndexedDb.

Initialization

1. Click the “Open Directory” button.
2. Select the folder containing your journal file(s).
3. Select the main journal/book file and click “Set Book” button.
4. If using Asset Allocation, select the asset allocation file and click “Set Asset Allocation” button.
